    Henry J. Luzzi, ’60, set Southern and New England records after scoring 17 touchdowns and 116 points during the 1958 season. He amassed a career total of 210 points playing halfback for the Owls. Luzzi went on to a distinguished career in public service, as mayor of East Haven for many years. He has served as an outstanding high school and college basketball official, and has been inducted into several halls of fame.
