Jeritt Lewis stands as one of the all-time greatest men's basketball players to suit for the Owls. Lewis completed his playing career with the second-most points all-time and broke the program record for steals.

Lewis was a two-time All-New England Collegiate Conference selection, the 1994 New England Collegiate Conference Rookie of the Year and a 1997-98 All-American. In 1996-97, Lewis averaged 13.6 points per game in helping the Owls to the NCAA Division II Northeast Regional Championship and advance to the NCAA Elite Eight after winning a program record 28 games.

As a senior, he averaged a team-high 19.0 points, 4.1 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game to earn NABC All-American honors. His 589 points that season were the fourth-most in program history and the most points scored since 1982 while his 19 points per game ranked 10th all-time for a single season and his 213 field goals ranked seventh. Lewis was also one of two players at the time of his graduation to total 50 steals in two seasons.

Lewis surpassed the 1,000-point mark as a junior in 1996-97 and finished with 1,888 in 119 games for a 15.9 per game average for his career. At the time, he finished as just the second player in program history to reach 1,800 career points. Lewis also broke the program record with 182 career steals, surpassing the previous high of 154.

As of 2025, Lewis ranked fourth in career points and third in career steals.
