Richard Nocera, ’67, has held several New England season and career records and he was the all-time rushing leader for the Owls with a career 2,664 yards, including a record 1,166 yards in 1965. He earned All-Conference, UPI All-New England, and All-ECAC honors, as well as All-America Honorable Mention. In addition, as captain and third baseman in baseball, Nocera was an All-America selection in 1966.
