Rusty Brooder holds numerous Southern, New England and NCAA Division II pitching records. He allowed just two earned runs in one season for a 0.29 ERA and 17 in his career for a 0.94 ERA. He was Most Valuable Player, All-New England and All-American in 1967, before signing his professional contract with the Cleveland Indians.
