NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Southern Connecticut State University was part of a profile piece on the Today Show on Thursday morning. As part of its 'Education Nation' segment,  SCSU President Dr. Stanley Battle and Bill Cosby were interviewed live at NBC's New York City studios. A crew from the show taped the recent march and rally for education at the Lincoln-Bassett School in Newhallville, as well as a meeting with community leaders here at Southern. Southern's drumline led the march in Newhallville. In addition, senior Chazz McCarter (New Haven, Conn.) was included in the piece during a recent community outreach event at the Beecher School in New Haven.
