FARMINGTON, Conn. - Former Southern Connecticut State University men's soccer standout Gary Cronin is among seven individuals who will be inducted into the Connecticut Soccer Hall of Fame on Jan. 28 at the Farmington Marriott. Cronin was a part of two NCAA National Championship teams during his playing career with the Owls.
Cronin was the 1988 NCAA Tournament defensive MVP as a freshman and, in his senior year, was named the 1990 Connecticut State Player of the Year. He was also a member of the U23 United States National Amateur Team. Cronin later played professionally for six years.

Other inductees in the 2012 class are Stephen Coxon, Tony Lepore, Carlos Parra, Vanessa Pruzinsky, Jack Testani and Max Zietky.
