MIAMI SHORES, Fla. - The Southern Connecticut State University volleyball team lost a pair of 3-0 decisions to Barry and Bridgeport during day one action at the Barry Tournament today.

SET SCORES vs. Barry: 25-13, 25-17, 25-15
SET SCORES vs. UB: 25-14, 25-16, 25-23

KEY PERFORMERS:
- Leanna Jadus (Long Beach, Calif.) had a team-high six kills and Barry along with a team-high 13 digs. She added eight kills and nine digs against UB.
- Alyssa Gage (Beverly Hills, Fla.) posted nine kills, eight digs and a .421 hitting percentage against UB.
- Kailyn O'Neal (Katy, Texas) had 16 assists against Barry and 17 against UB.
- Gabriela Vazquez (Meriden, Conn.) finished with a team-high 11 kills against UB.
