NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Alyssa Gage (Beverly Hills, Fla.) had team-highs of nine kills and four blocks, but the Southern Connecticut State University volleyball team lost a 3-0 decision to LIU-Post today.

LOOKING AT THE NUMBERS
- Leanna Jadus (Long Beach, Calif.) had eight kills and added a team-high 11 digs.
- Kailyn O'Neal (Katy, Texas) finished with 23 assists for the Owls.
- Anna Venard (Thornton, Colo.) also reached double digits with 10 digs.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Game one was tied at 15-15, before the visitors scored 10 of the final 11 points to take the win.
- The second game followed a similar script. LIU-Post held a slim 16-15 lead and then closed on a 9-2 spurt to claim the win.
- The Owls hung close in game three as well, but LIU-Post went on to the two-point win.
