Get to Know SCSU women's basketball graduate student Patricia Conroy. The Staten Island, N.Y. native joins the Owls from The University of Albany, where she was a four-year member for the Great Danes. She graduated summa cum laude from UAlbany with a degree in human development and is now studying communication disorders at SCSU.

Steph Curry - because I love the way he shoots the ball and sees the court.

Why did you choose Southern Connecticut? What set it apart from the other schools you visited?
I loved Coach Lynch, the graduate program and everything else the school has to offer.
 
What does wearing the SCSU logo mean to you?
It means pride and passion.

I can quack like a duck.

What are three things on your bucket list?
Travel to Europe, run a marathon and live in Hawaii for a few years.

I would like to become a speech pathologist.
