ALBANY, N.Y. - The Southern Connecticut State University volleyball team swept the College of Saint Rose at the Nolan Gymnasium, 3-0. With the win, the Owls move to 14-5 overall and 3-1 in the Northeast 10, while the Golden Knights fall to 5-12 overall and 1-4 in the NE10.

Graduate student Gabriela Vazquez (Vega Alta, Puerto Rico) led the attack for Southern Connecticut with nine kills and a .571 hitting percentage. Freshman setter Lily Miller (Ottawa, Ill.) contributed 18 assists, while senior setter Heliceliz Rivera (Corozal, Puerto Rico) recorded 12 assists. Sophomore Kacey Deecher (Granby, Mass.) picked up seven kills and five digs for the Owls.

• Lily Miller topped a career-high in assists with 18 against Saint Rose. Her previous career-high was set in the Owls Oct. 5 game against Stonehill when she had 13.
• Abigail Epstein has recorded at least one service ace in each of her last six games.
• Abigail Epstein has collected at least one block in all 19 games played this season. 10 of those 19 games have seen Epstein record three-or-more blocks.
• Erika Benson has registered at least one block in all 19 games played this season. Six of those 19 games have seen Benson record three-or-more blocks.
