Southern Connecticut gymnastics will travel to Philadelphia, Pa. to take on West Chester in the Pink Invitational on Friday, Feb. 18, 2022 at the Philadelphia Convention Center.

THE OWLS' LAST TIME OUT

• Southern Connecticut finished second at the four-team Barbara & Don Tonry Invitational hosted by Yale University on Saturday, Feb. 13 which also featured Bridgeport and Springfield.
• The Owls finished behind host Yale and ahead of Bridgeport and Springfield.
• Hanna Zebdi led the Owls with scores of 9.6 on the Vault and a career-best 9.75 on the Floor while Emelia Diaz (Jacobus, Pa.) scored a 9.725 and Angel Lee (Chino Hills, Calif.) posted a 9.7 on the Beam. 
• Bianca Leon (Miami, Fla.) had a team-high score of 9.825 on the bars. 
• The Owls posted a team score of 47.875 on the Vault for their highest event of the afternoon.
• Cassidy Girolamo (Newington, Conn.) led the Owls in the event with a 9.65 for fifth place.
• Zebdi posted a 9.6 for sixth place while Lexi Bracher (Oakton, Va.) and Brooke Burkhart (Haymarket, Va.) both scored a 9.55 for a tie of 10^th.
• Southern collected a 47.525 on the Floor.
• Zedbi was the Owls' top-scorer in the event with a 9.750, good for a tie of fourth place, and a career-best score.
• Noely Macias (Fitchburg, Mass.) was ninth with a 9.650. She's now hit with a 9.65 on the Floor in three-straight meets and is second on the team with a 9.55 average.
• First-year Owls Diaz and Lee led the Owls on the Beam to help Southern to a 47.250 team score.
• Diaz posted a 9.725 for the second-best score her young career while Lee's 9.7 was also her second-best score. Diaz placed fifth while Lee was close behind in sixth.

Vault Notes

• First-year Owl Brooke Burkhart is averaging a team-high 9.694 on the Vault with a score of 9.55-or-higher in each event this season.
• Hanna Zebdi is averaging 9.685 while Hannah Stahlbrodt checks in at 9.675.
• Cassidy Girolamo (9.650) and Lexi Bracher (9.562) also check-in among the team leader's.

Bars Notes

• Stahlbrodt is averaging a team-leading 9.775 while Leon checks-in at 9.562.
• Leon has turned in scores of 9.8, 9.775 and 9.825 in her last three events.
• Chelsea Baker and Shreya Munshi are averaging a 9.65 while Audrey Arnold (9.625) and Delaney Fields (9.575) also lead the Owls.

Beam Notes

• On the beam, Noely Macias and Emelia Diaz lead the Owls with a 9.8 average while Angel Lee and Libby Allen sit at 9.725 and 9.7, respectively.
• Bianca Leon is also averaging a 9.675.

Floor Notes

• Stahlbrodt also leads Southern with a 9.775 average on the floor with Zebdi close behind at 9.75.
• Macias and Leon are both averaging a 9.65, each.
