SCSU Athletics & Recreation Honors Student-Athletes At Fourth Annual Owl Awards

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Southern Connecticut State University Athletics & Recreation honored the accomplished of its student-athletes at the Fourth Annual Owl Awards hosted at SCSU's Lyman Center on Monday, May 5.

 

The evening began with Red Carpet entrances and interviews conducted by women's basketball junior Rheyna Steinauer. The award show opened with highlights and segued to the opening monologue by host Chris Leary, SCSU's head athletic trainer.

Leary then welcomed comments from Vice President of Student Affairs Tracy Tyree and Interim President Dr. Dwayne Smith. Members of SCSU's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (S.A.A.C.) and club sport athletes presented the awards to the deserving Owls.
