SCSU Athletics Highlights Fall 2025 Academic Success

Southern Connecticut State University Athletics & Recreation is proud to announce the department's academic success for the Fall 2025 semester. Of the Owls 500-plus student-athletes, 370 finished the term with a grade-point average of 3.00-or-higher for a department GPA of 3.285.

Of the Owls' 350 student-athletes with a 3.00 GPA or higher, 44 posted a semester GPA of 4.00 while 191 had a GPA ranging between 3.50 and 3.99. SCSU also featured 135 student-athletes with GPAs ranging from 3.00 to 3.49.

Women's Cross Country posted a department-best 3.620 for the Fall, followed close behind by Women's Swimming & Diving (3.556), Women's Lacrosse (3.548), Women's Volleyball (3.546) and Softball (3.522). Baseball led all men's sports with a 3.348 GPA while Men's Swimming & Diving was second at 3.167.
