Southern Connecticut State University Athletics

Amy Sokaitis is in her first season as an assistant women's basketball coach at Southern Connecticut State University. Sokaitis joins the Owls after spending the past two seasons as an assistant coach at nearby Yale University. In that role, she was involved in all facets of the program, including recruiting, game and practice preparation, scouting, compliance and film exchange.

She also has experience with the Alaska-based Challenge Life Youth Foundation and has served as a coach and teacher for the organization since 2005.

Sokaitis holds a bachelor’s degree in sports management from Western State College (Colo.) and a master’s degree in management of sports industries from the University of New Haven.
