Kevin Curley started his collegiate career in cross country at Central Connecticut State University before moving on to Orange Coast (Calif.) College, where he competed in track and field. While at Orange Coast, he helped the squad win two Orange Empire Conference Championships. Curley also qualified for the California Community College Track Championship and finished seventh in the 10,000 meters.
He then transferred to SCSU, where he earned All-Conference honors in cross country.
Curley earned a bachelor’s degree from Southern Connecticut and also holds an associate’s degree from Orange Coast College.
He has also built an accomplished record outside of the collegiate ranks, where he has competed in the Chicago and Houston Marathons. Curley finished 47th at the Houston event and was 61st in Chicago. Curley finished eighth at the 2007 U.S. Mountain Championship.
