Brett Donoghue is in his second season as a member of the Southern Connecticut State University women’s soccer coaching staff.
In Donoghue’s first season with the club, the Owls posted the second-best shutout percentage in all of Division II.
He is a veteran coach at both the club and scholastic level within the state of Connecticut. He has served as a coach on the South Central Premier staff since 1998, a stretch in which the program has won five state championships.
Donoghue has also been named the Connecticut Junior Soccer Association Coach of the Year for his efforts.
A graduate of Virginia Wesleyan College, he has also amassed scholastic experience at both Daniel Hand and East Haven (Conn.) High Schools.
Donoghue lives in Clinton, Conn. with his wife, Brenda.
