Lee claimed both the triple jump and long jump as the Owls finished second at the Dartmouth Relays. He won the triple jump with a leap of 15.14 meters and the long jump with a leap of 7.01 meters. While both marks are NCAA provisional qualifiers, Lee's triple jump figure was the second best in Division II this year. SCSU finished second as a team at the meet, ahead of the likes of Harvard and UMass-Lowell.
The Connecticut Army National Guard is serving as the title sponsor of Southern Connecticut State University's 'Athlete of the Week' recognition program. Initiated in September, 2007, the 'Athlete of the Week' program recognizes one female and one male student-athlete each week for demonstrated excellence on the playing field.
