Box Score WEST HAVEN, Conn. - Mads Larsen (Trondheim, Norway) and Daquan King (Plainville, Conn.) scored as the Southern Connecticut State University men's soccer team defeated the University of New Haven 2-0 in a Northeast-10 Conference match.

In the 39th minute, Larsen capitalized off a Chargers' turnover to get the visiting Owls on the scoreboard.

King added an insurance marker in the 72nd minute. Alex Soriano (Wallingford, Conn.) assisted on the goal.

Stephen Sasso (Orange, Conn.) had six saves for his sixth shutout of the season.

The Owls, now 6-5-1, 6-3-1 NE-10, play Saturday at St Michael's.
