Box Score SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - Ed Sharman scored in the second overtime period to give host AIC a 2-1 victory over the Southern Connecticut State University men's soccer team in a Northeast-10 Conference match.  Jason Burnusuz assisted on the match-winner.

Josh Abromaitis (Southbury, Conn.)  got the Owls on the board first in the 28th minute.  The sophomore's first goal of the season came off a deflection in the net.

AIC tied the match in the 78th minute on a goal by Alex Hill.

Stephen Sasso (Orange, Conn.) stopped all three shots he faced for the Owls, who held a 9-7 shots on goal advantage.  The junior received a match-changing red card midway through the second half.  Freshman David Igreja (Mississauga, Ontario) had two saves in his first game action this season.

SCSU, now 4-3-1, 4-2-1 NE-10, plays at 18th ranked Southern New Hampshire University on Saturday at 7 p.m..
