HOW IT HAPPENED
-The Owls actually led this one from start to finish. They led by as many as nine in the first half and carried a seven-point lead into the break.
- Southern extended its lead to 16 points in the third quarter, but the Clippers were within eight points of the Owls at the conclusion of the frame.
- SCSU managed to maintain its lead in the fourth to run away with its third straight win, 55-45.
