HOW IT HAPPENED
-An explosive start for the Owls offense combined with tightly played defense helped lift them past the Chargers in non-conference action. With the defensive help of senior
Abby Hurlbert, who collected 4 steals and 11 defensive rebounds, the Owls were able to protect their lead as they never trailed during the course of the game.
-SCSU held its biggest lead in the closing minutes of the game after
Amanda Pfohl netted a good three-point shot to cap off an impressive 16-3 fourth quarter run to give the Owls a 22 point lead and seal their fourth straight victory.
