GAME HIGHLIGHTS
HOW IT HAPPENED
-The captains led the way for the Owls as
Isaiah McLeod (Cambridge, Mass.) recorded a double-double with 25 points and a career-high 11 rebounds, along with
Jerry Luckett, Jr. (Milwaukee, Wisc.) who registered a team-high 29 points.
-A well-executed game plan from both teams would keep the game close with no team leading more than four points throughout both frames. The Owls would take control midway through the second half where they went on a 14-5 run to go up 11 points and put the game out of reach for the Setters.
- The Owls 3-point shooting late in the second half was the difference maker as they went 7-of-10 in the half and went 4-for-4 during their 14-5 run to give the Owls the 11 point lead.
-With this victory the Owls move to a 3-3 record in conference play.
