Owls Fall To No. 24 SNHU

MANCHESTER, N.H. – The Southern Connecticut State University women's soccer fell to No. 24 nationally ranked Southern New Hampshire, 2-0.

HOW IT HAPPENED
  • SNHU opened the scoring at 16:31 as Daniella Humphreys slotted the ball in right side to take a 1-0 lead.
  •  The Penmen added another goal in the 56th minute off a long pass from the left side to take a 2-0 lead and secure the victory.
  •  Freshman Kaitlyn D'Amico (Middletown, Conn.) and sophomore Meaghan Kelley (East Brookfield, Mass.) both had two shots on the night, while freshman Abigail Allen (Orange, Conn.) made four saves.

Southern Connecticut will host Le Moyne College on October 24 at 7 p.m.
