NEW HAVEN, Conn. - The Southern Connecticut State University women's soccer team fell in a 2-1 game to Stonehill College.

HOW IT HAPPED
- The Owls scored one minute after the opening whistle as Kaitlyn D'Amico (Middletown, Conn.) dribble past a defender and shot the ball into the right side of the net taking a 1-0 lead.
- The Owls defense held strong for the entire first half, however Stonehill was able to score two in the second half to take the 2-1 lead.
