NEW HAVEN, Conn. - The Southern Connecticut State University honored its seniors with a sweep of Saint Michael's College today at Pelz Gym. With today's win the Owls move to 18-13 overall and 10-4 in conference play, while the Purple Knights drop to 0-19 overall and 0-14 in conference play.

The Owls received a little offense from everyone as
Alyssa Gage (Beverly Hills, Fla.) led the charge with 9 kills and a team-high 10 digs, while freshman
Kailyn O'Neal (Katy, Texas) collected 12 assists. Southern was hot on their services as they collected a total of 16 services aces on the day, led by freshman Kyle Fisher who had a team-high five aces while senior tandem
Jennifer Dawson (Clinton, Conn.) and
Leanna Jadus (Long Beach, Calif.) collected four and three, respectively.
NOTES
- Today's 16 team services aces was a season-high for the Owls. The last time they hit double-digits in total service aces was back on October 5 when they had 11 in their 3-1 win over Concordia.
- With today's win, the Owls are now on a seven-game win streak against NE10 opponents.

With the victory, the The Owls claim the No. 4 seed in the NE10 Tournament and will host No. 5 seed Southern New Hampshire on Tuesday, Nov. 6 in a Quarterfinal match-up at 7 p.m. at Pelz Gym.Â
