OWLS VISIT JEFFERSON TO CLOSE OUT ROAD TRIP
The Southern Connecticut State University men's basketball team went 2-0 last week, with a win over American International and Pace in conference action. The Owls will wrap up their road trip on Dec. 15 in Philadelphia, Pa. to face non-conference opponent Jefferson, with tip-off set for 4 p.m.

The Owls lead in the all-time series against the Rams, 1-0.

THE OWLS LAST TIME OUT 
• Five Owls recorded double-digit points as the Southern Connecticut State University men's basketball team defeated Pace University 86-82 in conference play at Goldstein Fitness Center for its third straight win.
• 
Ulyen Coleman (Brockton, Mass.) led the Owls in scoring with 24 points, registered a season-high in assists with six and seven rebounds. 
• 
Isaiah McLeod (Cambridge, Mass.) recorded his third double-double of the season scoring 21 points and 11 rebounds along with two assists in the win. 
• 
Kealen Ives (Providence, R.I.) tallied 14 points, seven assists and seven rebounds.  

MCLEOD NAMED NE10 PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Seniors 
Isaiah McLeod (Cambridge, Mass.) was awarded NE10 Player of the Week for his performance in two wins for the Owls last week.

MOVING UP THE CHARTS
• With his 16-point night against the Setters, McLeod now stands at 1,331 on the Owls all-time points and trails Daryle Breland '80 for 15th place with 1,359.

THE OWLS IN THE NE10
• Isaiah Mcleod ranks first in points per game with 22.9, his 57.7% field-goal percentage is sixth in the conference.   
Ulyen Coleman sits tied for 16th in scoring with 15.5 per game, his 47.3% three-point shooting percentage ranks 11th in the conference.
• Kealan Ives 6.3 assists per game ranks second in the NE10.
Luke Beesley's 9.6 rebounds per game and 77.1% field-goal percentage leads the NE10.
• As a team, SCSU's 105 three-pointers are third in the NE10, trails Adelphi's 117 and Franklin Pierce 110 on the year.
• The Owls are ranked third in the NE10 in three-point percentage at 39.9%.

NCAA RANKS
• Senior Luke Beesley ranks eighth in the nation in double-doubles with five on the year and 24th in the nation with 9.6 rebounds per game.
Kealen Ives sits in 19th in the nation averaging 6.3 assists per game.

COLEMAN SETS SEASON-HIGHS
• Coleman scored his season-high in points with 24 tonight as well as a season-high in assists with six. 
• The sophomore was lights out as he shot 9-for-13 from the field and 5-of-8 from three-point range. With this 24-point performance the sophomore moves into second in scoring for the Owls this season at 15.5 points per game.


MCLEOD BACK ON TRACK

• McLeod returned to the Owls' lineup on Wednesday, Nov. 28 against New Haven, posting 29 points in a losing effort. He followed with 26 against Adelphi for his third 20-point game of the season.
• He checks in with a team-leading 23.2 points per game as well as 5.7 rebounds per contest.

DOUBLE-DOUBLE MACHINE
• Beesley's double-double against AIC was his fifth of the season. He's now pulled down double-digit rebounds in six of his last eight games. The senior post player also shot 1-of-1 from the floor against Pace to bring his season shooting percentage at 77.1%.

THREE-POINT SHOOTING KEY TO OWLS GAME
• The Owls' 13 three-pointers against Caldwell matched their season-best they they hit against the University of the Sciences on Nov. 11.
• Of their 13 three-pointers, the Owls converted on 9-of-16 in the first half.
• Southern has now knocked down double-digit three-pointers in four of its six games this season.


NEWCOMERS HIT CAREER MARKS
• Michael Mozzicato's 13 points against Caldwell, on 3-for-5 shooting from beyond the arc, were a career-high for the first-year Owl in his sixth career game. 
• 
Kealen Ives posted nine assists, besting his previous career-best of seven against Post.
• C.J. Seaforth's 18 points were also a career-best, topping his 13-point showing against Le Moyne
