OWLS EMBARK ON ROAD TRIP
The Southern Connecticut State University men's basketball team went 1-1 last week, with a win over Adelphi University in conference action. Southern will head to Pleasantville, N.Y. on Dec. 8, to play Pace University at Goldstein Fitness Center for a 3:30 p.m. showing. The Owls will wrap up their road trip on Dec. 15 in Philadelphia, Pa. to face non-conference opponent Jefferson with tip-off set for 4 p.m.

THE OWLS LAST TIME OUT 
• The Southern Connecticut State University men's basketball team beats American International 72-61 in conference action at Henry A. Butova Gymnasium.
•  
Isaiah McLeod (Cambridge, Mass.) led the Owls as he recorded a season-high 31 points while also nabbing seven rebounds. 
•  
Luke Beesley (Champaign, Ill.) registered 12 points and 11 rebounds for his fifth double-double of the season.

TWO OWLS TABBED TO CONFERENCE HONOR ROLL
Seniors 
Isaiah McLeod (Cambridge, Mass.) and Kealen Ives (Providence, R.I.) were selected to the Northeast 10 weekly honor roll for their performances in two games for the Owls last week.

MCLEOD BACK ON TRACK

• McLeod returned to the Owls' lineup on Wednesday, Nov. 28 against New Haven, posting 29 points in a losing effort. He followed with 26 against Adelphi for his third 20-point game of the season.
• He checks in with a team-leading 23.2 points per game as well as 5.7 rebounds per contest.

DOUBLE-DOUBLE MACHINE

• Beesley's double-double was his fifth of the season. He's now pulled down double-digit rebounds in six of his last seven games. The senior post player also shot 6-of-6 from the floor to put his season shooting percentage at 76.6%.

MOVING UP THE CHARTS

• With his 26-point night against the Panthers, McLeod passed 
Luke Houston '15 for 17th place in career points at Southern Connecticut. He now stands at 1,284 and trails Kevin Connors '76 for 16th place with 1,287.

THE OWLS IN THE NE10
• Isaiah Mcleod ranks first in points per game with 23.2, his 57.6% field-goal percentage is eighth in the conference.   
• Kealan Ives ranks 20th in scoring at 15.1 points per game while his 6.4 assists per game ranks second in the NE10.
• Luke Beesley's 10.0 rebounds per game ranks leads the NE10 while his 76.6% field-goal percentage ranks first.
• As a team, SCSU's 93 three-pointers are third in the NE10 and trails Adelphi's 96 and 104 for the year.
• The Owls are ranked fourth in the NE10 in three-point percentage at 39.6%one of three teams.

THREE-POINT SHOOTING KEY TO OWLS GAME

• The Owls' 13 three-pointers against Caldwell matched their season-best they they hit against the University of the Sciences on Nov. 11.
• Of their 13 three-pointers, the Owls converted on 9-of-16 in the first half.
• Southern has now knocked down double-digit three-pointers in four of its six games this season.


NEWCOMERS HIT CAREER MARKS

• Michael Mozzicato's 13 points against Caldwell, on 3-for-5 shooting from beyond the arc, were a career-high for the first-year Owl in his sixth career game. 
• 
Kealen Ives posted nine assists, besting his previous career-best of seven against Post.
• C.J. Seaforth's 18 points were also a career-best, topping his 13-point showing against Le Moyne
