HOW IT HAPPENED
- Southern came out with a 8-1 run in the first four minutes of the game. The Dolphins would tie the game two minutes later to take the lead and used a 24-7 run to build a 25-15 lead.
- The Owls chipped away and ended the half on a 4-0 run to put them within five points of the visitors at halftime, 36-31.
- SCSU tied the game at 38-38 within the first 2:30 of the second half. Then, a three-pointer from
Jesper Sandager (Kongens Lyngby, Denmark), on Southern's next basket gave the hosts a 41-40 advantage. However, LeMoyne followed with a 12-0 run to take the lead for good.
