NEW HAVEN, Conn. - The Owls scored three unanswered goals in the second half to push the Southern Connecticut State University women's soccer squad past Assumption College, 3-2.

- Assumption jumped on the board with two quick goals early to take the lead.
- Southern's offense woke up in the second half as they scored three unanswered goals to claim the win. Junior
Johanna Wahlen (Baden-Wurttemberg, Germany) scored the opening goal for the Owls in the 50th minute as she collected a loose ball outside the 18 yard box and launched a missile into the left corner to cut the Greyhounds lead in half.
