WALTHAM, Mass. – Thanks to a great team effort that included career days from
Alyssa Gage (Beverly Hills, Fla.) and
Jillian Chambers (Shelby Township, Mich.), the Southern Connecticut State University volleyball team picked up a 3-2 win at Bentley today. The win was the second in a row for the Owls.
Gage matched a career-high with 21 kills in the contest and posted a .425 hitting percentage. Chambers had her second career double-double with 11 kills and a career and game-high 20 digs.

- Gage matched her career-high with 21 kills, which she also achieved against Adelphi last year.

Leanna Jadus (Long Beach, Calif.) and
Kailyn O'Neal (Katy, Texas) each registered double-doubles in the contest. Jadus had 18 kills and 11 digs for her ninth double-double of the year. O'Neal posted a career-high 44 assists and 12 digs for her fifth double-double of the year.

Gabriela Vazquez (Meriden, Conn.) just missed out on a double-double with nine kills and 12 digs.

Anna Venard (Thornton, Colo.) posted 16 digs for the Owls.
- The win was just the third in program history for the Owls against Bentley.
