HOW IT HAPPENED

- Molloy opened the scoring 16:15 into the game. The Lions added another goal at 31:23 and took a 2-0 lead into halftime.

- Senior Natasha Prukalski (Danbury, Conn.) notched her first goal of the season off a tipped pass from fellow senior Emily Stross (Avon, Conn.) to cut Molloy's lead in half.

- The Lions found the back of the net two more times in the second half, but it was their two-goal first half that proved to be the difference-maker.

- Junior captain Brianna Craft (Hamden, Conn.) made ten saves for the Owls.
