Johanna Wahlen (Karlsruhe, Baden-Württemberg, Germany) netted her first collegiate goal and the game-winner as the Southern Connecticut State University women's soccer team defeated Queens College this afternoon.

Kaitlyn D'Amico (Middletown, Conn.) scored her first collegiate goal in the 48th minute after junior
Kelly Lamb (Ledyard, Conn.) fed the ball to D'Amico who pocketed it into the top right and put the Owls up 1-0.
- Queens struck next at 52:46 to tie the game at one.
- Wahlen's game-winning goal came in the 76th minute of the game from sophomore
Paula Nunez Escobar (Santurtzi, Spain).
