NEWARK, Del. – Senior Leanna Jadus (Long Beach, Calif.) posted a pair of double-doubles, but the Southern Connecticut State University volleyball team lost both of its games at the Wilmington University Tournament today. The Owls were defeated by the host school, 3-0, and then Holy Family, 3-1.

LOOKING AT THE NUMBERS
- Jadus a game-high 17 kills and added a team-high 16 digs against Wilmington. She registered 11 kills and 16 digs against Holy Family. For her efforts, she was named to the All-Tournament Team.
- Alyssa Gage (Beverly Hills, Fla.) registered 10 kills and five digs against Wilmington and contributed 13 kills, five blocks and a .481 hitting percentage in the nightcap.
- Gabriela Vazquez (Meriden, Conn.) posted nine kills and nine digs in the opener and nine kills and 11 digs against HFU.
- Freshman Kailyn O'Neal (Katy, Texas) registered 31 assists against Wilmington and 23 against Holy Family.
- Anna Venard (Thornton, Colo.) had 11 digs against Wilmington and 10 against Holy Family.
