MANSFIELD, Mass. - Southern Connecticut State University seniors Isaiah McLeod (Cambridge, Mass.) and Kealen Ives (Providence, R.I.) were both named to the Northeast 10 Conference Honor Roll, as announced by the NE10 on Monday, Jan. 14, 2019.
 
McLeod averaged 22.0 points shooting 6-for-15 from three-point territory, 6.0 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.0 steals per game in a 1-1 week for the Owls. He scored a team-high 29 points shooting 7-for-16 from the floor and 5-for-9 form beyond the arc and seven rebounds against conference opponent Merrimack College. The senior then recorded 15 points , five rebounds, two steals and two assists in the double-overtime matchup against SNHU.
 
Ives averaging 21.0 points shooing 44.1 percent (15-for-34) from the floor and 33.3 percent (4-for12) from beyond the arc, 4.5 assists and 3.0 rebounds in two games for the Owls. The senior scored 10 points, six assists and two rebounds in the win over Merrimack. He then matched a season-high 24 points (11-for-27 shooting), four rebounds and three assists in the game against SNHU.
 
The Owls return to NE10 play this week when they host Saint Anselm on Tuesday, Jan. 14 at 7:30 p.m. at the James Moore Field House in New Haven, Conn.
