NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Southern Connecticut State University volleyball team snapped a three-game losing streak, defeating the College of Saint Rose in conference play, 3-0 at Pelz Gymnasium. The Owls improve to 9-9 on the season and 2-2 in the Northeast 10 Conference, while the Golden Knights fall to 8-11 overall and 2-3 in the NE10.

Jennifer Dawson (Clinton, Conn.) was the offensive leader for the Owls as she knocked down 11 kills and 15 digs, adding two service aces, while freshman
Ella White (Gurnee, Ill.) collected 10 kills and 12 digs, adding one service ace. Both senior
Anna Venard (Thornton, Colo.) and freshman
Gabriela Gaibur (Monroe, N.Y.) collected 15 digs apiece. Senior
Tea Carter (Modesto, Calif.) tallied 37 assists in the win.

Notes
- Jen Dawson collected her second double-double of the season with 11 kills and 15 digs. She has also tallied double-digit digs in five of her last seven games.
- Ella White collected her third double-double of the year with 10 kills and 12 digs.
- This was the fourth-straight game that Erika Benson has collected three-or-more blocks in a match. Her four blocks also match a career-high set on Oct. 1 in the Owls game against American International.
- Tea Carter has collected 30-or-more assists in ten games this season and in five of her last six matches.
