NEW HAVEN, Conn. - The Southern Connecticut State University volleyball team dropped a 3-0 decision to the University of Bridgeport at Pelz Gymnasium. The Owls fall to 8-9 overall, while the Purple Knights improve to 15-3 overall.

Addison Brill (Lewisville, Tex.) notched a career-high 29 assists for SCSU, while junior
Abigail Epstein (Crystal River, Fla.) had a team-high nine kills. Sophomore
Erika Benson (Kings Park, N.Y.) had a team-high .333 hitting percentage, knocking down six kills, while collecting a game-high four blocks and three digs. Freshman
Gabriela Gaibur (Monroe, N.Y.) chipped in nine digs and seven kills in the loss for the Owls.

- Addison Brill's 29 assists was a career-high. Her previous high was set during her first collegiate appearance on Sept. 20 when she had 28 in the Owls match against West Chester.
- Jennifer Dawson (Clinton, Conn.) has tallied double-digit digs in four of her last six games.
- This was the third-straight game that Erika Benson has collected three-or-more blocks in a match. Her four blocks also match a career-high previously set on Oct. 1 in the Owls game against American International.
