The Southern Connecticut State University women's basketball team will play one game home and one on the road this week. They'll host Queens College on Wednesday, Nov. 13 for their first home game of the season at Moore Field House. Then on Saturday, Nov. 16, they'll travel to Washington, D.C. to face the University of the District of Columbia.

These two teams last faced each other Nov. 25, 2018 when the Owls defeated the Knights 83-60. Jessica Fressle had 20 points and 13 rebounds, Aaliyah Walker
had 16 points, 10 assists, eight rebounds and four steals to help lead the Owls to victory.

The Last Time They Met:
These two squads last faced each other on Nov. 11, 2017 when UDC took a 77-71 victory over SCSU. Africa Williams led the Owls with 16 points in her SCSU debut. Abby Hurlbert and Imani Wheeler also reached double figures with 10 points apiece.
Last Time Out
- The Owls doubled up Bloomfield, 100-51 to close out the Bridgeport Crossover Classic.
- Senior Imani Wheeler led the offensive charge bringing in a game-high 20 points shooting 8-for-10 from the field and 2-for-2 from beyond the arc with in six assists and two steals. Senior Kiana Steinauer provided 15 points, six rebounds, two steals and two assists.
- Kiana Steinauer broke 1,000 points against Bridgeport and with 15 points against Bloomfield, she now up 1,029 career points, ranking 19th all-time in program history.
- Southern had six players score in double-digits for the since time since Dec. 13, 2013 against Post University, when Keshia Primo, Maria Weselyj, Nicole Grossbard, Mariah Hankton, Sydni Lester, and Taylor McLaughlin all scored at least 10 points.
- The last time Southern scored 100 or more points in a single game was on Dec. 14, 2014 when they scored 100 against Post University.
- The Owls 49-point victory is their largest margin of victory since Dec. 3, 2007, when they defeated Felician University by 66, winning by a score of 106-40.
- The Owls have started off 2-0 in back-to-back seasons.
