Heading into their fifth-straight game on the road, the Southern Connecticut State University women's basketball team will travel to Old Westbury, N.Y. for a non-conference matchup with the Bears of New York Tech on Wednesday, Nov. 20. Game time is slated for a 5 p.m. start at Recreation Hall. After this matchup, the Owls will take a quick trip home to Moore Field House to host American International College for their conference opener on Nov. 26 before hitting the road again for a three-game road swing of Northeast 10 battles with stops at New Haven, Le Moyne and Saint Rose.

The Last Time They Met: These two squads last faced each other on Nov. 11, 2017 when SCSU took a 68-60 victory over New York Tech on Dec. 10, 2018. Kiana Steinauer collected her eighth double-double of the year with 20 points and season-highs in rebounds with 20 and in assists with four, while classmate Imani Wheeler broke her career-high in points collecting 17 on the night.
Last Time Out
- The Owls defeated the University of the District of Columbia, 64-51 on Nov. 16.
- Senior Kiana Steinauer's 18 points and 17 rebounds was her third double-double of the year. She has also been in double-digit point totals in all four games thus far.
- Imani Wheeler collected her fourth-straight double-digit point game with 14 points.
- The last time the Owls won their first four games was during the 2009-10 season against Bridgeport, Le Moyne, Post and Pace to open the season.

- Kiana Steinauer is now up 1,065 career points, ranking 18th all-time in program history.
- Steinauer's 50 rebounds this season puts her seven away from breaking the 1,000 mark in rebounds. She previously broke 1,000 points in the Owls game against Bridgeport on Nov. 9.
