All-Time Against Le Moyne: 19-24
The Last Time They Met: Southern defeated the Dolphins in overtime, 97-91, on Feb. 16, 2019 on the strength of a career-high 35 points scored from Isaiah McLeod (Cambridge, Mass.). Four other players scored in double figures, as Luke Beesley (Champaign, Ill.) scored 16 points, Kealen Ives (Providence R.I.) scored 15, and C.J. Seaforth (Hamden, Conn.) and Joey Wallace (Rochester, N.Y.) added 11 each in the contest.
 
What You Need To Know
  • Southern came back from a double-digit deficit twice to knock off New Haven, 74-71, on Wednesday, Dec. 4 at Charger Gymnasium.
  • It was the second time this season the Owls have come back from a double-digit deficit to win a game, as they came back from down 15 against Goldey-Beacom to win 72-67 during the Bridgeport Crossover Challenge on Nov.10.
  • Senior Taurus Adams II (Milwaukee, Wisc.) had a team-high 25 points and 11 rebounds against New Haven, recording his seventh career double-double and his fourth of the season.  
  • Southern set a new season-high in free throws made and attempted against New Haven, going 20-for-22 from the line.
  • Southern has made 44 of their last 47 free throw attempts dating back to their game on Nov. 23 against Concordia. 
  • Seaforth was named to the NE10 Weekly Honor Roll for the third time in the season's first four weeks for his game against American International College on Nov. 26.
  • Among players that have made at least 2.5 per game and played in 75 percent of their teams' games, Seaforth ranks seventh nationally in three-point field goals made at 4.17, 23rd nationally in three-point field goal percentage at 51 percent, and is tied for ninth nationally in free throw percentage at 95.2 percent, going 21-22 from the line. 
  • The Owls rank second nationally in free throw percentage at 84.8 percent.
