NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Southern Connecticut State University volleyball team fell 3-0 to Holy Family University at Pelz Gymnasium. The Owls drop to 7-6 overall, while the Tigers improve to 5-6 overall.

• Ariel Letcher (Sebastian, Fla.) led the offense for Southern Connecticut with seven kills and five digs, while Abigail Epstein (Crystal River, Fla.) had six kills and one service ace.
• Tea Carter (Modesto, Calif.) had a team-high 22 assists, three digs and a block.
• In her season debut, Jillian Chambers (Shelby Township, Mich.) was three-for-nine from the floor with a team-high .333 hitting percentage.
• Anna Venard (Thornton, Colo.) had a team-high 14 digs and one service ace, while Jennifer Dawson (Clinton, Conn.) had 11 digs, four kills and two service aces.
