Brianna Craft Named To Northeast 10 Field Hockey Academic All-Conference Team

MARSHFIELD, Mass. – Southern Connecticut State University Field Hockey's Brianna Craft was named to the 2020 Northeast 10 Conference Academic All-Conference team, as announced by the NE10 on Monday, Feb. 3, 2020.

To be eligible for selection to the NE10 Academic All-Conference teams, a student-athlete must have met or exceeded the following minimum requirements: started in at least half or played in at least two-thirds of the team's competitions as a significant contributor and achieved a 3.30 cumulative GPA (on a 4.0 scale).
 
Craft earned All-Academic honors after posting a cumulative GPA of 3.631 while majoring in physical education. Craft earned All-NE10 Second Team honors after a remarkable senior campaign that saw her break numerous program, conference and NCAA records in goal for Southern.
 
Craft holds the NE10 conference record for career saves and the NCAA Division II career saves record with 926. In addition, she holds SCSU program records for career saves, single-season saves and the single-game saves record. She is also the only goalkeeper in SCSU field hockey program history to record 200 or more saves in each of her four seasons as an Owl. Four of six feats were broken or re-broken by Craft over the course of 2019 season.
