The Southern Connecticut State University field hockey team will head to Pleasantville, N.Y. to face Pace University in non-conference action on Thursday, Oct. 14.

Spectator Policy
Pace University Athletics has announced its 2021 Fall Sports spectator policy. More information on the spectator policies for each NE10 institution can be found here. 
  • Fans from home and visiting teams are allowed to attend athletic events on campus. There will be no tailgating allowed for the start of the fall semester.
  • Masks must be worn by all attendees regardless of vaccination status at both indoor and outdoor events.
  • Ticketing and Online Self Health Screening are required for all events. Tickets for all fall events can be purchased here.

All-Time Against Pace: 0-7
The Last Time They Met: Pace narrowly edged the Owls, 2-1 on Oct. 15, 2019. Brianna Craft broke the NCAA DII record for career saves, while Karley Welles scored the lone goal for SCSU.

Scouting the Game
  • Pace has won four of its last five games and scored 19 goals over that five-game span.
  • The Setters are 5-1 at Finnerty Field this season.
  • Cienna Bosher will be the Setter to Watch. Bosher scored two goals in Pace's 4-0 blank over American International in the Setters last game. She has seven goals two assists and 19 shots on goal this season.
  • Janelle Ward will be the Owl to Watch. Ward has made double-digit saves in the last four games, including one 20-save performance.

Last Time Out
The Owls were fell to Bentley University in Waltham, Mass. Junior Janelle Ward made 11 saves in goal. Freshman Karen Sicha made her fourth defensive save of the year.
