How It Happened
- Southern picked up two of the first three set points on Molloy errors. The Lions bounced back and scored six-straight points to gain the lead. Both sides traded points until the Owls went on a 13-1 run midway through the set and regained the lead by nine. Despite picking up five of the final seven set points, the Owls surge was enough to take set one.
- Set two began with a different tone as both sides traded points in a tug-o-war affair. Later in the set with the score tied, the Owls went on a small 6-2 run to obtain a four-point lead, 19-15. After a familiar back-and-forth tug, the Owls scored the last four points for a set two victory.
- The final set of the game started off much like the second set until Molloy broke through and found its offense. The Lions led for much of the set until the Owls responded and closed out the game with a 6-0 run of play that secured the sweep.

- Taylor Jones tallied her fifth-straight double-digit assist game, and her ninth game with 30-or-more assists.
- This was Jones' sixth double-double of the season, as she had 34 assists and 13 digs. Her last double-double came on Oct. 10 against American International where she had 36 assists ad 12 digs.
- Kacey Deecher notched her fourth-straight double-digit dig game of the season with 13 digs.
