WALTHAM, Mass. - The Southern Connecticut State University volleyball team fell to Bentley University, 3-1, in the Northeast 10 Quarterfinals at the Dana Center. The Owls record stands at 23-10, while the Falcons improved to 15-11.

Graduate student Gabriela Vazquez (Vega, Alta, Puerto Rico) led Southern's attack with 12 kills, and chilled in on defense with 12 digs and three blocks. Junior Gabriela Gaibur (Monroe, N.Y.) had 23 digs, seven kills, and two service aces. Sophomore setter Taylor Jones (Middletown, N.Y.) recorded 29 assists, while graduate student Abigail Epstein (Crystal River, Fla.) had six kills, seven blocks, and four service aces.

• Gabriela Vazquez picked up her sixth double-double of the season with 12 kills and 12 digs.
• Abigail Epstein recorded her ninth game with at least four blocks, and her seventh game with at least three service aces.
• Gabriela Gaibur picked up her fifth game with at least 20 digs and her 27th game with double-digit digs.
• Gaibur also recorded her sixth consecutive game with double-digit digs.
• Taylor Jones tallied her 12th double-double of the season with 29 assists and 10 digs. 
• Jones also recorded her 25th game with at least 20 assists, and her 22nd game with at least 25 assists.
