The Southern Connecticut State University women's basketball squad will host Holy Family University in non-conference action on Sunday, Nov. 28.
All-Time Against Holy Family: 2-4
Last Time They Met: In the all-time series between both sides, Holy Family leads four games-to-two, though, the pair haven't met since March 10, 2012. The Tigers took a 71-61 victory in that matchup.
Matchup Preview
The Owls are coming off a 61-58 victory over American International College on Nov. 23, which was their second-straight win over the Yellow Jackets in recent years. Southern Connecticut had not beaten AIC since Dec. 6, 2014 prior to those matches. Holy Family is coming off a 65-62 overtime win over Molloy on Nov. 19.
- The Owls offense has been led by graduate student Jessica Fressle and senior Zoë Amalbert, who have a combined 132 of Southern's 281 points scored through four games.
- Amalbert leads the squad in assists (22) and steals (9), while Fressle leads in rebounds (47). Fressle is averaging a double-double of 18 points per game and 11.8 rebounds per game.
- Moe Moore will be the Player to Watch on the Holy Family side. Moore leads the team in most categories: points (77), rebounds (50), assists (24), and steals (12).
- Lindsay Tretter has also been a sharpshooter from the field shooting 47-percent.
- After dropping its first game of the season to NE10 opponent Franklin Pierce, Holy Family has battled back to win the last three straight games.
- Delaney Connors was key for the Owls in their last outing against American International. Connors had a game-high 20 points, nine rebounds, three assists and a steal to help charge the Owls' play. She shot 57 percent from three-point range and 54 percent from the field.
- Lindsay Tretter and Moe Moore led the way for the Tigers in their last outing that saw Holy Family defeat Molloy, 65-62, in overtime. Tretter shot 5-for-8 from the field, 4-for-6 from three-point range and picked up 15 points, while Moore recorded 13 points, 14 rebounds and five assists.

- Zoë Amalbert is first in the conference in total assists with 22 and third in assists per game with 5.5.
- Jessica Fressle is fourth in the conference in points per game (18.0) and fourth in rebounds per game (11.8). Fressle is also third in total rebounds with 47.
- Patricia Conroy is tied for fourth in the conference in three-pointers made with 10 on the season.
- As a team, the Owls are first in the conference in three-pointers made (33) and fourth in three-point shooting percentage (34.4).

- Zoë Amalbert is tied for 19th overall in assists per game (5.5) and tied for 41st in total assists (22).
- Jessica Fressle is tied for 17th in rebounds per game (11.8) and tied for 45th in total rebounds (47).
