The Southern Connecticut State University volleyball team will host Assumption College in Northeast 10 action on Saturday, Nov. 6. The Owls sit in fifth in the Northeast 10 standings with three conference games remaining, while the Greyhounds sit in eighth.

The Last Time They Met: The Owls were victorious it their last outing against the Greyhounds. SCSU took a 3-2 victory on Nov. 9, 2019.

SCSU completed a come-from-two-sets-behind victory over the University of New Haven on Nov. 4.Â
- Graduate students Abigail Epstein and Gabriela Vazquez, and junior Gabriela Gaibur were behind the Owls' arsenal.Â
- Epstein swung for .405 and led the team in kills with 17 and added four blocks. Vazquez notched 15 kills, 14 digs and four blocks. Gaibur recorded 13 kills, 14 digs and added two service aces.Â
- Sophomore Taylor Jones continued her streak of solid play making with 52 assists, 11 digs, three kills, a service aces and a block.Â
- Rookie Libero Krishnalei So'oto was solid on the defensive end with 23 digs, while chipping in four service aces on the offense

- Abigail Epstein is first in the conference in hitting percentage (.349).Â
- Gabriela Gaibur  is first in the NE10 in total kills with 330 on the season, while Epstein is seventh with 274.Â
- Taylor Jones is fourth in the conference in assists per set with 9.72 Jones is also third in the NE10 in total assists with 826. Â
- Krishnalei So'oto is second in total digs with 436 and eighth in digs per set with 4.45. Gaibur is sixth in total digs with 364.Â
- Abigail Epstein is second in total blocks with 77, and Erika Benson is tied for fifth with 64.Â
- Gabriela Gaibur is first in the conference in points scored with 370, while Abigail Epstein is second with 365.Â
- Abigail Epstein is first in service aces with 41, while Krishnalei So'oto is third with 38 and Gabriela Gaibur is tied for ninth with 31.

Player Notes After Last Match
- Gabriela Gaibur recorded her 17th double-double of the season with 13 kills and 14 digs. Gaibur also picked up her 20th game this season with at least 10 kills.
- Taylor Jones has recorded double-digit assists in every single one of her 26 appearances this season.
- Jones now has five 50-assist games this season. She ties Tea Carter's 2018 record for most 50-assist games in a season.
- Jones now has 21 games this season with at least 20 assists and 14 games with at least 30 assists.

Team Notes After Last Match
- This was SCSU's first win on the road at the University of New Haven in its all-time series of road games with the Chargers.
- This was the Owls' first comeback from down two sets since Nov. 17, 2017 against Saint Anselm in the 2017 NE10 Semifinals, which was hosted by UNHÂ at Charger Gymnasium.
- This was just the fourth five-set game the Owls have played this season.
