The Southern Connecticut State University women's basketball team will round out non-conference action this weekend against the Rams of Jefferson University on Saturday, Dec. 18 at Moore Field House.

• Cassie Murphy and Haley Meinel are the Rams scoring leaders. Murphy has 141 points, while Meinel has 139 points, both through 10 games this season. Meinel is also first on the team in steals (29) and blocks (11), and second on the team in assists with 24.
• Morgan Robinson is Jefferson's play maker, leading the team in assists with 70 and is second on the team in steals with 26.

Last Time Out
Southern defeated Caldwell University in double overtime, 75-72, on Dec. 11. The Owls received a balance effort on both ends of the floor. Senior Zoë Amalbert and graduate student Jessica Fressle led the team in points with 17 each. Amalbert picked up seven assists and two steals, while Fressle went 8-9 from the free throw line with seven rebounds, three steals, and a block. Senior Delaney Connors had 15 points, six rebounds, and two steals, while sophomore Katie Williamson shot 83-percent from the field and had 10 points, eight rebounds, two steals, and a block.

• Zoë Amalbert is first in the conference in total assists with 52 and first in assists per game with 6.5. 
• Jessica Fressle is third in rebounds per game (12.3) and fifth in the conference in points per game (19.5). Fressle is also third in total rebounds with 98 and fifth in points (156).
• Patricia Conroy is second in the conference in three-pointers made with 20 on the season.
• As a team, the Owls are first in the conference in three-pointers made (71) and second in three-point shooting percentage (32.9). 
• Southern is first in assists with 17.3 per game, second in the conference in rebounds per game with 44.4, and third in steals per game with 9.5.
