The Southern Connecticut State University women's basketball team will kick off 2022 with a conference matchup against Pace University on the road. The Owls and Setters are the top two teams in the Southwest Division of the Northeast 10 as Pace sits first and Southern sits second. These two teams are the last remaining with undefeated conference records this season.

Last Time They Met: Pace captured the last meeting between these two sides, 58-53, on Feb. 11, 2020. Jessica Fressle collected a double-double of 22 points and 14 rebounds, while Alexa Kellner shot 46-percent from the field with 13 points and eight rebounds.

- Jessica Fressle and Zoë Amalbert have been key contributors for Southern this season. Fressle leads the team in points (166), points per game (18.4), rebounds (105), rebounds per game (11.7). - All three of Southern's conference wins this season are also three of Pace's four conference wins to date.
- Pace will be coming off a back-to-back with a matchup against the College of Staten Island scheduled for Friday, Dec. 31.
