SCSU Women's Basketball Hosts Pace For NE10 Matchup On Wednesday, Nov. 30

Southern Connecticut women's basketball resumes Northeast 10 Conference play when it hosts Pace on Wednesday, Nov. 30 at 5:30 p.m. at James Moore Field House. Both teams will be playing for their first conference win while Southern holds a 4-1 overall record and Pace is 1-4.

Katie Williamson Named To NE10 Honor Roll

Katie Williamson (Dublin, Ireland) was named to the Northeast 10 Conference Weekly Honor Roll on Monday, Nov. 28. Williamson posted back-to-back double-doubles in a pair of wins against Dominican, 68-60, and Caldwell, 70-50. Williamson average 10.5 points and 12.5 rebounds per game.
Against Dominican, Williamson had 11 points and 10 rebounds as well as two steals and then followed with a 10 point, 14 rebound outing against Cadwell in which she also blocked three shots.

The Owls' Last Time Out

Southern cruised to a 70-50 win against Dominican on Sunday, Nov. 27.
Katie Williamson (Dublin, Ireland) had a double-double with 10 points and a game-high 14 rebounds as well as three blocks.
Zoe Amalbert (Nanuet, N.Y.) led four Owls' scorers with 12 points to go along with a team-best seven assists, five rebounds and four steals.
Delaney Connors (West Hartford, Conn.) had 11 points while Delaney Haines (Portland, Me.) finished with 10.
Renza Milner (Carlsbad, Calif.) had a career game with seven points and nine rebounds as well as two steals.

Owls Notes

Zoe Amalbert leads the Owls, and ranks 11^th in the NE10, with 14.4 points per game while leading the conference with 5.6 assists per game.
Amalbert also ranks eighth with 1.6 steals per contest.
Katie Williamson is averaging 11.2 points and a team-leading 6.8 rebounds per game while also leading the team with eight blocks.
Delaney Connors is also averaging double digits at 10.4 points per game as well as 6.2 rebounds and 4.2 assists per game.
Ashley Evans is averaging 8.2 points and 5.4 rebounds per contest while her 55.9% shooting from the floor ranks third in the NE10.
Delaney Haines is averaging 6.6 points off the bench while her eight three-pointers in five games leads the Owls.

Scouting The Setters

Tower Lorde leads Pace with 9.3 points per game while Lauren Hackett checks in at 9.0 points, 4.3 assists and 4.3 rebounds per contest.
Arianna Stockinger leads Pace with 6.7 rebounds per contest as well as a block per game.

Up Next For The Owls
Southern will travel to Waltham, Mass. to take on Bentley on Saturday, Dec. 3 at 1:30 p.m. The Owls will then travel to Adelphi on Tuesday, Dec. 6 before returning home to host Saint Rose on Saturday, Dec. 10 at 1:30 p.m. at James Moore Field House.
