SCSU Volleyball Clipped By Saint Anselm, 3-0, In Regular-Season Finale

MANCHESTER, N.H.  – Southern Connecticut State University volleyball lost to Saint Anselm, 3-0, in a Northeast 10 Conference matchup in Manchester, N.H. With the loss, the Owls finish the regular season with a record of 16-14 overall and 5-7 in the NE10.

The Owls clinched a spot in the NE10 Championship Tournament, which is set to begin on Thursday, Nov. 10. The Owls are locked into the No. 7 seed and will play at No. 2 Bentley, at 7 p.m.

Against the Hawks, Gabriella Gaibur (Monroe, N.Y.) had a team-high 11 kills with eight digs while Payton Reis (Royal Palm Beach, Fla.) had eight kills and two blocks. Heliceliz Rivera (Corazal, Puerto Rico) finished with nine assiss, five digs and four kills.
